I'm currently the Executive Director of the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society in Tahoe City CA. NLTHS operates two house museums, the Gatekeeper's Museum adjacent to the 1912 dam at the outlet of Lake Tahoe and the 1909 Watson Cabin, the oldest structure still standing in the Lake Tahoe Basin. We are a small non-profit organization that houses exhibits, an archive devoted primarily to the cultural history of the area, and collections with both historic and prehistoric pieces, with a major collection of Native American basketry called the Marion Steinbach collection. Previously I was a sector Superintendent for California State Parks including the CA State RR Museum, Sutter's Fort SHP, the State Capitol Museum and the Leland Stanford Mansion, all in Sacramento CA. Other relevant experience has been with the US Forest Service and the National Park Service.
