Fran Ritchie is an art conservator who specializes in the preservation of organic material. Her recent work and research in the care of natural history collections focuses on the conservation of mammalian taxidermy. Fran is currently a Project Conservator at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. In addition her participation in the SPNHC Conservation Committee, she is also the Chair of the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (a network within the American Institute for Conservation).
