Work Experience: I've been a curatorial assistant in the Ichthyology Collection at the Harvard University Museum of Comparative Zoology since 2005. I experience maintaining and preparing wet specimens, shipping ethanol and formalin specimens, collection moves. I also have extensive experience in digitization, particularly imaging, including photography, radiography and computed tomography (CT) . He primarily works with the fungi, algae, and bryophytes in the Farlow Herbarium (FH). Genevieve beta tested, and helped implement and write documentation for, two collections management databases in the past 12 years. She has also spend extensive time working on the wiki used at the HUH.

Professional Affiliations: He has been a member of SPNHC since 2008 and in 2015 joined the Best Practices committee.

Other Interests/Expertise: I enjoy woodworking and I'm proud I have never unintentionally rolled off the bed that I made myself. I'm proud to captain on our scrappy, perpetually underdog museum volleyball team, The Unnatural Selections. I also play as much softball as the summer and my knees allow. I also try to dabble in alpha-taxonomy when there is time, unfortunately, there's never time.
