Rachael Perkins Arenstein is a partner in the private conservation treatment and consulting firm [www.amartconservation.com|A.M. Art Conservation, LLC] since 2009. She specializes in archaeological, ethnographic and natural science treatments as well as preventive care. She has worked at the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, the American Museum of Natural History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She completed internships at the British Museum and the Israel Museum as well as other international institutions. Rachael’s degree in art conservation is from the University of London where she studied at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. She received her B.A. in Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from Cornell University and excavated at Tel Miqne-Ekron in Israel. She has served [www.spnhc.org|SPNHC] as the Co-Chair of the Storage Poster Session at the 2012 Annual Meeting, Chair, General Technical Session at the 2004 Annual Meeting and a member of the Publicity and Outreach Sessional Committee, 2003-07. In addition, she is active in several other professional organizations including positions as the e-Editor for the [www.conservation-us.org|American Institute for Conservation] and the Co-Chair of the Integrated Pest Management Working Group which manages the [www.museumpests.net|museumpests.net] website.
