Unstable storage environment accelerates deterioration

-Warmer temperatures speed up deterioration processes

-An increase of 10°C doubles chemical reactions

-Extraction of lipids and proteins goes faster

-Cooler temperatures condense lipids and promote paraformaldehyde formation
